We partner with local organizations, translating our research into service for neighbors with disabilities. A recent collaboration with the Dayle McIntosh Center provided real-time remote sighted assistance to over 450 blind and low vision folks during the pandemic.

Ali defended his dissertation on navigation technologies for people with vision-based disabilities in Spring 2021; he’s on the job market, so grab him up!
Kevin defended his dissertation on de-institutionalizing independence in Winter 2022 and took a position as a User Experience Researcher at Google.
